Coaching and yoga for menopause
For those who are dealing with the physical and emotional impacts of menopause, coaching and yoga each offer distinct ways to navigate this major transition.

The Second Spring mindset
My approach starts with a reframing of menopause as a Second Spring.

This borrows from eastern philosophy, which sees menopause as a time of renewal and empowerment – a new beginning in which a woman’s accumulated experience and wisdom can come to the fore.

This is very different to the typical western view that women are past their peak at this stage in life, and that menopause is something to be endured or ignored.

This shift in mindset is powerful in its own right, and it runs through all the menopause yoga and coaching I do.

Whole person coaching
I take a ‘whole person’ approach to menopause coaching. Using a rich blend of eastern and western thinking, I address the impacts of menopause on your mind and body, and on your work and home environment.

It’s important to deal equally with your professional development and your personal wellbeing - because no-one should have to choose between career and self-care.

I combine coaching and mentoring methods with breathwork and yoga. This equips you with insights, tools and practical techniques to thrive professionally and personally as you transition into your personal Second Spring.

Second Spring Leaders programme
For many women, the onset of menopause will coincide with taking on a senior professional role. And just as the demand for performance hits a new peak, menopausal symptoms come along to undermine confidence, resilience and energy.

It’s not surprising that nearly two thirds of menopausal women report a loss in motivation, more than half say they’ve lost confidence, and up to a quarter either consider or actually do leave work*.

That’s why I co-founded Second Spring Leaders, to support senior women through menopause and beyond. To help them reach the boardroom – and stay there – regardless of whether they’ve reached ‘a certain age’.

Menopause yoga
I run classes and retreats designed to support women through this life stage, whether you are approaching menopause, experiencing its effects, or leaving it in the past.

Building on the eastern concept of Second Spring, I take a holistic approach to maintaining healthy bones, brain, heart and spirit.

In addition to being a qualified yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga, I am also an accredited teacher with Petra Coveney’s Menopause Yoga.
